Inner Orb — Privacy Policy

Inner Orb is developed by Joshua von Gersdorff. In short: I do not collect any data about you.

Your data stays on your devices

Your mood diary, session history and settings are stored only on your iPhone and your paired Apple Watch. They are never sent to me, to a server or to anyone else. Inner Orb does not use the internet.

Apple Health

With your permission, Inner Orb saves completed sessions to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes and reads your heart rate during sessions. Health data is stored by Apple Health on your device, is never sent off your device by Inner Orb, and is never used for advertising or shared with anyone. You can change or revoke access at any time in the Health app.

Apple Watch sync

Inner Orb syncs between your iPhone and paired Apple Watch using Apple’s WatchConnectivity, a direct device-to-device connection. No cloud service or server is involved.

Panic SOS contact

If you choose someone to call from Panic SOS, Inner Orb uses Apple’s contact picker and stores only the phone number you pick, on your device. It does not read your contacts list.

No accounts, analytics, ads or tracking

Inner Orb has no accounts or sign-in, no analytics, advertising or third-party code, does not track you, and does not sell or share any data with third parties.

Children

Inner Orb does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Delete the app from your iPhone and Apple Watch to remove all of its data. Mindful Minutes already saved to Apple Health can be deleted in the Health app.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
