Squared — Privacy Policy

Squared is developed by Joshua von Gersdorff. In short: I do not collect any data about you.

Your financial data stays on your devices

Transactions, balances, budgets, savings goals and settings are stored only on your iPhone and your paired Apple Watch. They are never sent to me, to a server or to anyone else.

Apple Watch sync

Squared syncs between your iPhone and paired Apple Watch using Apple’s WatchConnectivity, a direct device-to-device connection. No cloud service or server is involved.

Notifications

The optional morning summary is generated and scheduled locally on your device. No data is sent anywhere to create it.

No accounts, analytics, ads or tracking

Squared has no accounts or sign-in, no bank connections, no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking code, and does not sell or share any data.

Children

Squared does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Deleting your data

Delete the app from your iPhone and Apple Watch to remove all of its data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
